Community Coach - Schools (Full Time 37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000

Girls Elite Player Development Centre Lead Coach (Part Time)

Salary: hourly rate based on experience

Our successful Girls Player Development Centre is designed to provide an opportunity for girls to take the next step on the talent pathway whilst continuing to play for their grassroots clubs. As a lead coach your role will be to deliver high quality coaching sessions, complete player development reports and manage the team on matchdays. Training takes place on a Tuesday night with matches during the half terms against other Elite Clubs across the Country. The successful applicant will possess a minimum FA level 2 coaching in football qualification, an up to date first aid and an FA safeguarding certificate. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and also go through the DBS process. This is a paid role within the community Trust.

Volunteering

Current opportunities include:

Ladies Development Team Manager – A newly formed team for the 2019/20 season, we are looking for 2 volunteer coaches to take on the Northampton Town Ladies Development team. This team will be a huge support mechanism for our ladies team and also our BTEC team as part of the player pathway. You will hold of minimum FA level 2 coaching in football qualification, an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificate. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and will be required to complete a DBS check.

Girls Elite Player Development Centre Assistant Coach - Our successful Girls Player Development Centre is designed to provide an opportunity for the girls to take the next step on the talent pathway whilst continuing to play for their grassroots clubs. U9’s Girls Grassroots Manager – After an exciting season of growth, we are expanding our girls section to a new under 9’s age group. The team will play in the Northamptonshire Womens and Girls League. Home games will be played at Blisworth FC on a Saturday morning and currently matches are played every few weeks at this age. One training session will also take place per week. You will hold of minimum of FA level 1 coaching in football qualification, an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificate. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and also go through the DBS process.

 

Grassroots Assistant Coach – We have various assistant coaches roles within our grassroots club from U9’s right through to our U14’s. We are looking to help and support up and coming coaches who are looking at taking their next step in football and want to help the next generation of female footballers. Emphasis on a fun, friendly and safe environment is key through the club. You will hold of minimum of FA level 1 coaching in football qualification, an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificate. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and also go through the DBS process.

 

Wildcats Assistant Coach We currently run 2 successful Wildcats centres for girls at 5-11 wanting to get into football as part of the FA national initiative. We are due to set up our third centre in Northampton and are on the look out for fun energetic individuals to help support in these centres. No prior qualifications are needed and so this is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their coaching skills alongside a professional coach. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and also complete an enhanced DBS.

 

Disability Coach – Our successful Multi-Disabled football club is on the look out for new coaches for the 2019/20 season. With the club receiving charter standard status and over 100 players currently in the programme this club is a great hub for all players with a disability. We run teams from U10’s right through to Adult Male and Female only teams. Training is on a Friday night with games played within the BOBi League on Sundays throughout the year. You will hold of minimum of FA level 1 coaching in football qualification, an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificate. All applicants will need to provide proof of qualifications and also complete an enhanced DBS.
