Multiply- Our New Employability Programme
In partnership with North Northamptonshire Council & Winning With Numbers they can now support adults across parts of the county to develop confidence in their numeracy skills and enhance life opportunities.
About Multiply
The multiply project supports both adults & children across 4 different projects below:
Winning with Numbers- is an innovative numeracy project that will enable parents and children to work together to improve their numeracy skills and confidence. The project will take place in various after school clubs for ten weeks, bringing new fun ways of learning with numbers. Every parent and child will have completely free access to the Winning with Numbers online platform so the fun learning never ends!
Score- is a 12-week programme either one to one or in small groups with an NTFC CT Education and Skills Tutor that works through a range of numeracy topics. These groups will be delivered at community venues within the North Northamptonshire area. Sessions will utilise the unique appeal of professional football and will be themed around the Premier League, EFL and Northampton Town FC.
Multiply Matchday Experience- is where parents (and children) are invited to Northampton Town FC Home matches to take part in a numeracy learning day, allowing a unique learning experience. The Multiply Matchday Experience allows for real life numeracy learning, engaging, and observing real life scenarios of how numeracy is used within matchday logistics, planning and general use of numeracy. Families will arrive at the stadium pre-match to undertake numeracy workshops delivered by Northampton Town FC Community Trust Education Tutors at the onsite education centre. They will then receive a numeracy learning pack, stacked with various learning resources tailored around the matchday experience that will be completed throughout the day.
Numeracy Event Days- will be exhibition days as an oversight of the Multiply programme of Northampton Town FC Community Trust. This will be signposting other said Programmes of Multiply to engage within the North Northamptonshire communities.
