IAN CROW

Employability Officer

I joined the Northampton Town Football Club Community Trust in September 2021 as an Education and Sport Mentor.

My role as Employability Officer is to motivate, coach, teach and train learners who are currently unemployed and looking to achieve sustainable employment. I offer young people an overall learning experience that prepares them for the ability to function in adult and working life, developing effective support for learners, enabling them to succeed and progress - gaining confidence and an understanding of the world of work.

I originally started at Northampton Town Football Club as a matchday volunteer, before joining the Community team. My background is working in alternative education and sports after I graduated from Leeds Trinity University, where I completed a BA Honours in Secondary Physical Education & Sports Coaching.
