Thanks to a grant from the Northamptonshire High Sherriff's Initiative Fund (through Northamptonshire Community Foundation), we'll be delivering a brand NEW project that offer holisitic, targeted support for people with criminal records and those on probation to address their wellbeing and employability needs.
The project will empower people to develop resilience and take control of their lives and wellbeing for sustained progression and to break the cycle of reoffending.
What we offer:
Weekly 1-2-1 mentoring sessions - either in person or over the phone / online
Fortnightly small group sessions
Flexible engagement options
Peer support in a welcoming, non-judgemental space
Sessions cover a range of topics on wellbeing, skills development and employabilty support
Links with local groups and services to increase a sense of connectedness with the community
Access to free training and learning opportunities
Find out about local employment and work experience opportunities
This project is open to the following:
Adults aged 18+
Current Northamptonshire resident
We are unable to accept referrals for people with convictions involving children or sexual offences
Must be able to commit to the majority of the course
Must be able to engage independently (with appropriate support measures if needed) - we're happy to speak to you about any access needs you might have
