youth interventions officer

I joined Northampton Town Football Club Community Trust in April 2026 as a Youth Intervention Officer, with a focus on supporting young people through community-based programmes and using the power of sport and football to create positive opportunities.

I have extensive experience working with young people and communities, developing and delivering programmes designed to engage those who may face barriers to participation. I have also developed strong skills in safeguarding, partnership working, project development and supporting individuals facing challenging circumstances.

In my current role, I lead on the Trust's Premier League Kicks programme and support a range of initiatives aimed at engaging young people and creating positive opportunities through football. I am passionate about using football as a way to build confidence and resilience, reduce barriers to participation and create positive relationships within communities.

I am particularly interested in developing opportunities for young people who may be at risk of becoming disengaged from education or their community, and in building strong partnerships with local organisations to increase the impact of our work.

I'm looking forward to continuing to develop the programmes we deliver, expanding our reach across Northamptonshire and helping more young people benefit from the opportunities that football and the Trust can provide.
