We aim to support and inspire more women and girls of all ages and ability to get involved in football at all levels of the game. We deliver a range of weekly sessions in schools and the local community alongside a range of competitive playing opportunities through our grassroots, PDC and ladies team set ups.

I believe the work the players do in the community is beneficial for both the players and the local community as it brings the club and the local community closer together, and hopefully it inspires the younger generation to take part in sport and develop an interest in Northampton Town Football Club. Personally I enjoy going to visit and work with the girls football programme and the children at schools in Northampton. I always find myself enjoying the time spent out in the community. If we are able to inspire the younger generation to support and take part in sport and make good lifestyle choices then I believe the visit has been a successful one. Unfortunately, when I was in school and playing grass roots football we never had the opportunity to ask questions of professional footballers, or have them watch / take training, so I do feel that it’s good to give something back in an area I missed out on to hopefully inspire the children who I work with.
